4. Use of the Platform

4.1 Permitted Use

You may access and use the platform solely for lawful, personal, and non-commercial educational purposes, unless a separate written agreement permits otherwise. You are permitted to view, engage with, and complete course materials assigned to your enrolled programmes.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Reproducing, distributing, or publicly displaying any course content without prior written authorisation
• Attempting to reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise access the underlying source code or infrastructure of the platform
• Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt or harm the platform or its users
• Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
• Harvesting, scraping, or collecting any data from the platform without our express written consent
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the platform
• Engaging in any conduct that interferes with other users' ability to access or enjoy the platform
• Sharing your account credentials or access with any third party
• Using the platform for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations

5. Intellectual Property

All content available on the platform, including but not limited to course materials, videos, text, graphics, assessments, exercises, branding elements, and software, is the exclusive property of Econtrade or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership right or licence to any intellectual property beyond the limited right to access and use course materials for personal educational purposes during your active enrolment. Any unauthorised use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

6. Course Enrolment and Access

Upon successful enrolment and payment where applicable, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the relevant course content for the duration specified at the time of purchase. Access periods and content availability are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Econtrade reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any course or programme at any time. Where a course is discontinued prior to your completion, we will make reasonable efforts to provide adequate notice and alternative arrangements where possible.

7. Payments and Refunds

All fees are displayed in the applicable currency at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through our designated payment providers. By submitting payment, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

Refund eligibility is governed by the specific refund policy applicable to each course or programme at the time of enrolment. Unless otherwise stated, refund requests must be submitted within the timeframe specified in the individual course terms. Econtrade reserves the right to decline refund requests that fall outside the specified conditions.

8. User-Generated Content

Where the platform permits you to submit content such as comments, discussion posts, or assignments, you retain ownership of the content you submit. However, by submitting content, you grant Econtrade a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely for the purposes of operating and improving the platform.

You are solely responsible for any content you submit. You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, offensive, infringing on third-party rights, or otherwise inappropriate. We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion without prior notice.

9. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or certifications from completing any course or programme. Educational content is provided for informational and skills development purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Econtrade and its directors, employees, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the platform or its content.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or such minimum amount as required by applicable law.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform and any course content will cease immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

16. Governing Terms

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Econtrade with respect to your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
